Hello everybody! I hope God is taking care of each of you and blessing your lives in so many ways! Everything has been good over here. Well, it’s been meh, I’m sick of being here at the MTC, but I only have a couple more days! Here's my week so far! (a lot of the days I realized as I read back through my recaps, I talk about leaving hahahah so I’ll leave most of those out) But I am ready to get to Ethiopia!

Well, another day closer to Ethiopia! I am so excited and ready for something new! And the classes were really easy today and I think they will just get easier now that we are in the final stretch! I can’t wait for conference it's one of my favorite times of the year.

October 4

General conference weekend has been amazing so far and there have been some amazing talks! Tomorrow we are watching most of the sessions since we are not going to watch Saturday evening because we will all be asleep hahahaha!  Ghana is 6 hours ahead of Mountain Standard Time so that is why we will watch the Saturday evening session on Sunday.  It was really good day listening to all the talks. I loved President Oaks talk, but my favorite was Elder Kevin Brown.

This is one of my teachers here at the MTC. You can see what happens when we need a little outlet.

Another great day of talks! I have gotten many answers to prayers and many reasons why I need to keep going on the mission even when it gets hard, it hasn't gotten hard yet, the only thing I think is "hard" is staying here at the MTC for so long! And then I remember some people must stay 12 weeks which is 3 longer than me, when I realize this, I shut up and remember I am blessed hahahahah. Every week in the Ghana MTC we have people and staff that come in and do a Ghana meal and presentation. Here are some photos and a video of them making some of the food.

October 6

Today was good! I'm very surprised I didn’t flip my lid on anyone today. I'm super close to throwing a punch but that's beside the point. Kinda at a low point today, and when I was stressed back home I used to always listen to music. But now being on a mission music isn’t an option, at least not the music I used to listen to, I need to find other ways to do that.  Also turns out there are 3 zones in the Ethiopia mission. I have been here in Ghana with 28 missionaries, so when we leave here and get to Ethiopia, I realized today that we will all be split up and I won’t see many of them for a while.  That made me kind of sad but it's ok I will get to meet new missionaries in Ethiopia.  Also, my companion who is from Zimbabwe is having difficulty getting his visa into Ethiopia, so he must go back to Zimbabwe and serve there until his visa comes through.   I have really liked being with him and I will miss him and hope he gets a visa quickly!

October 7

Today was pretty good and nothing bad happened. I took the most amazing nap today during gym, ok I know what you’re thinking" why didn’t you go to gym"?  Well, it was raining cats and dogs, so I took the opportunity I was given and slept instead hahahaha. Everything has been good and this week we rap up lessons and then we are pretty much home-free!  We still have not received our travel documents, but we will either be leaving on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.  Stay tuned!

Spiritual thought

As conference was this weekend I was really touched by the many talks about family. And how much I didn’t necessarily treat my family the way I should have all the time. I never was mean or rude to them (unless they were annoying) but the talks made me realize when I get home, I need to be more interactive with everyone and try to be more engaging and part of my family. I need to deepen my relationships and work on being as close as I need to be before it's too late. Frasier Family I love you guys, and I testify that families are forever and even though my family does not share blood I am still the Son of Shawn and Jill Frasier and we will all dwell in Heaven together in the last days, I love you guys!
