ዝም ብሎ Week

Alright, everyone is confused with the title it says "zim blow" to make it easy for everyone to pronounce.  It means "Just" like it’s “just” normal, it’s “just” random. So going into this email I apologize. Not a lot of pictures or crazy new stuff, but let’s hop in

Sep 1

I can’t believe today is already September. That’s kind of wild. It is really weird to think about. Today was overall a good day. We had DCM (District Council Meeting) and it was good. After we returned to our area and just did lots of finding.  Meaning we spent a lot of time walking around talking to lots of people.

Today we had lots of finding and then spent a lot of time doing member visits.

Not the best day. But the good part of the day is that we visited and spent time with our friend Sintayu who we worked with to get ready for baptism.  That was the best part of the day.

Sep 4

Today we spent some time doing Amharic connect. This is our language study that we use.  During this time, it was basically Lucas and I studying Amharic, I usually read the Book of Mormon. It’s pretty chill. After we went to Selams house, we talked a lot about missionary work and her mission. She served in Ghana so my companion and her have a special Connection because he is from Ghana.

Today was a normal day, lots of finding and inviting for church. Then calling people for church and checking in on our members.

Sep 6

Normal Sunday, some of our friends and members didn’t come.  That is because there is a big holiday coming up.  It is Ethiopian new year (Sep 11th) and so this next week will be interesting for sure.

Sep 7

P-Day, chiller kind of day, got a haircut and just played some pool and studied a little bit.
