HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Especially to my valentine Ali Robertson ❤️ (you all knew that was coming) hope you all had nice chocolate for me. Surprisingly, I crossed the 6 month mark this week. 1/4 done with my mission.... crazy... Let's hop into this week.

Today we met with a member, and all the missionaries went.... I don’t like it when we do that, but that’s the culture of this branch.... and we spent 3 hours. I’m not going to say wasted because it wasn’t. We were with a member. But 3 hours.... wasn't rly having it. This proceeded to lead into a companion argument. The usual. We will see what happens this week. I am really struggling because I want to be doing more missionary work. However, my other two companions are fine being lacks. It is causing contention.

Today was kind of crazy. We spent a lot of time just out finding people to teach and calling old grey dots. Which are people that are part of our church but have stopped coming. This Reactivation has been something we are trying to work on.

ZONE CONFERENCE! I love zone conferences because I get to see everyone or a good group of people. It was Elder Lees last zone conference before he went home. So, I took a photo. Also, I took a photo with Elder Uche from Nigeria. He has been serving in Hawassa this whole time, so it was good to see him! I gave my very first zone training. That was fun and I thought it went well. President said it was good so that was a positive. It was a nice time to see everyone and get recharged.

Most of the lessons we had scheduled fell through. We did have 1 online lesson so that was nice. But we lowkey switched to backup plans a lot today.

It was a good Sunday! We had really good attendance, accounting and that’s pretty much it.

This week while we were out walking in a new neighborhood, we came across a big game place. It had bowling and skating and trampolines and all kinds of fun things to do. We were kind of thrown off when we saw it as these types of places do not really exist in Ethiopia. So, we took note of where it was and we planned to go try it out on P-day, which is today. It should be fun and a bonus is that I did not need to plan anything. 😁😁
Love you all please be safe! Transfers are this week and I can’t believe I've gone through another transfer. It’s insane to me how fast time is flying here. I think I will be staying here but I am really hoping that I get a transfer in companions and that I only have one companion. Working in a trio is difficult. 🤣 but the Lord knows.
